When finding containers for young kids to put their toys in, don’t spend a lot of money. Maybe it’s just my kids, but I find that kids tend to be destructive. Use what you have in your house already.
I like cardboard boxes: shoe boxes, diaper boxes, paper boxes, or random decorative boxes. They are good enough, everyone has them, and they are easily replaceable.
Plastic bins with good lids are good for toys like Lego, trains, & dolls, that have lots of pieces. Kids may still manage to break even the nice containers, so keep an eye out for good sales.
