Organizing Medications and Supplements

Please go through old supplements, vitamins, & medications and throw out anything expired.  It can be dangerous to take old medications!  If you have prescription meds that you are done with, take them to the police department for disposal.

The better you are at doing this, the more money you will save by not purchasing duplicates.

Clean out the back of your drawers and under your bathroom sinks. If it’s in the back, there’s a really good chance you aren’t using it and don’t need it.

Once you have sorted through everything, sort them into categories by what they do: adult/children, pain, first aid, sinus.  Keeping meds in some kind of tray or container makes it easy to take down, look through, and put back.

Keep supplements accessible, so that it’s easy to remember to take them.  If you’re trying out new supplements, make sure to finish them or throw them out.  If you don’t like it, then don’t keep it.
