The Art of Decluttering has a podcast that is excellent!
I love how they talk in their podcast about why people keep things and are more focused on helping people let go of the extra that they don’t need, than buying cute containers for Instagram-worthy pictures. Plus, I love their Australian accents!
They interviewed Peter Walsh recently and the episode was really interesting. (Note: Peter did let a bit of language slip out but the rest of their podcasts are clean.)
He talked about his two main principles for maintaining an organized space:
- Don’t say, “I’ll do it later.”
- Don’t put it down, put it away.
Basically, procrastination is the enemy of organization. And small habits can make a big difference.
I completely agree with Peter and these lovely ladies and I can’t recommend this podcast enough. Give them a listen and let me know what you think. Do you have any other podcasts about organizing that you love? Let me know in the comments.
